Join twinKonnections as we journey to Italy on Friday, June 19, 2026 – Sunday, June 28, 2026.  We will explore Venice, Florence, and Rome.  Join us on this awesome adventure.   AIRFARE IS NOT INCLUDED (Flights originating from or returning to the USA or Canada are not included).

Itinerary

Board your overnight flight to Venice (Friday, June 19, 2026). Book a multi–city flight from your Departure city to Venice (VCE) on June 19, 2026 and your return flight from Rome (FCO) on June 28, 2026.    

Venice

Venice is, a city in Northeastern Italy, known as the “City of Canals,” “The Floating City,” and “Serenissima”. It is built on a group of 118 islands separated by canals and waterways, with portions linked by bridges. The city is a popular travel destination, famous for its striking architecture, beautiful bridges, and gondola rides.

Day 1: Arrival in Venice – Transfer to Hotel (Saturday, June 20, 2026)

Included Meals: Dinner    

Transfer to the hotel. Rest and get ready for our Welcome to Venice Dinner.  

Day 2: Venice City Tour / Gondola Ride (Sunday, June 21, 2026)

Included Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, we will be met by the tour guide for our half-day tour of Venice which includes a view of the Floating City, from top attractions to hidden corners, enjoy a gondola ride, and visit the lively St. Mark’s Square and admire St. Mark’s Basilica from the outside as your guide reveals its fascinating history. 

The tour is 3 hours.  

Enjoy a free evening in Venice and we will take the train to Florence the next morning.

Florence  

Florence, or Firenze in Italian, is the radiant heart of Tuscany and a cradle of the Renaissance. This city is a living museum, where cobblestone streets lead you past architectural marvels like the Florence Cathedral (Duomo), the Ponte Vecchio, and the Uffizi Gallery.

Day 3: Train to Florence (Monday, June 22, 2026)

Included Meals: Breakfast

We will be met by the tour guide for our transfer to the train to head to Florence. 

Enjoy an optional night out in Florence. 

Day 4: Florence City Walking Tour (Tuesday, June 23, 2026)

Included Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, we will be met by the tour guide for our half day tour of Florence.  Marvel at the architectural genius of Brunelleschi as you stand before the magnificent Duomo, whose terracotta-tiled dome has defined the skyline of Florence since 1436. Your guide will reveal the fascinating engineering secrets behind this architectural wonder and help you appreciate the intricate marble façade in its stunning pink, white, and green patterns. In addition to the Duomo, you’ll see the 11th century Baptistry where Dante himself was baptized. Stand before the renowned Gates of Paradise made of gleaming bronze panels that tell biblical stories with such artistry that Michelangelo himself declared them worthy of being the gates to heaven.
In the majestic Piazza della Signoria, often called Florence’s open-air museum, find yourself surrounded by masterpieces including a perfect replica of Michelangelo’s David and the Perseus by Cellini. Stroll along the storied Ponte Vecchio, Florence’s oldest bridge dating back to 1345, where generations of goldsmiths have crafted their wares. Your guide will share fascinating tales of the bridge’s secret corridor, the Vasari Corridor, built for the powerful Medici family. 
Throughout the tour, our guide will bring the Renaissance to life with little known stories of the artists, nobles, and merchants who shaped this magnificent city. You’ll gain insider knowledge about local customs, hidden gems, and the best spots for authentic Tuscan cuisine and gelato.

Enjoy a free evening in Florence and we will take the train to Rome the next morning.

Rome

Rome, the Eternal City, is a captivating blend of ancient grandeur and modern vibrancy. As the capital of Italy, it’s home to iconic landmarks like the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and Vatican City—all steeped in millennia of history and culture. Whether you’re wandering cobblestone streets, sipping espresso in a sun-drenched piazza, or marveling at Renaissance masterpieces, Rome offers an unforgettable experience at every turn.

Day 5: Train to Rome (Wednesday, June 24, 2026)

Included Meals: Breakfast
 
After breakfast, we will be met by the tour guide for our transfer to the train to head to Rome. 
 
We will transfer to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day.

Day 6: Vatican and Colosseum Tour (Thursday, June 25, 2026)

We will meet our tour guide for a full day tour of the Vatican and the Colosseum. Our guide will take you past the lines and straight into the magnificent Vatican Museums. This curated tour showcases an awe-inspiring collection, from ancient Greek and Roman sculptures to breathtaking Renaissance masterpieces. As you stroll through the galleries, marvel at the Raphael Rooms and the iconic ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Your guide will bring Michelangelo’s genius to life, dispelling myths and unveiling fascinating facts.

After soaking in the artistic wonders of the Sistine Chapel, enjoy some free time to explore the Vatican Museums further. Alternatively, take advantage of fast-track entry to St. Peter’s Basilica, where you can admire the grandeur of this architectural marvel on a self-guided tour at your own pace.

Following a lunch break, make your way independently to the iconic Colosseum. With your exclusive entrance, you’ll quickly enter through the legendary Gladiator’s Gate, stepping onto the Arena floor where history’s fiercest battles once unfolded. Your guide will vividly recount the infamous gladiator games, separating fact from Hollywood fiction as you stand on the arena floor and peer down into the intricate underground tunnels.

Next, delve into the heart of ancient Rome with a visit to the Roman Forum. Wander through this bustling archeological marvel, discovering its vibrant past. Ascend Palatine Hill and uncover the legendary roots of Rome, where a she-wolf nurtured Romulus and Remus. Learn about the rise and fall of an empire that declared its rulers gods, through captivating tales of emperors and tyrants.

This incredible journey through history will leave you with unforgettable memories of Rome’s most iconic landmarks and their timeless stories.

Day 7: Train to Pompeii with Lunch and Wine Tasting (Friday, June 26, 2026)  
Included Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
 
After breakfast, we will meet the tour guide for our full day to explore Pompeii.  We will take the  high-speed train to Naples in one hour, and from there — in just 35 minutes by private coach —  we arrive at the ancient ruins of Pompeii where our guide will amaze you during a walking tour of this city devastated by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in AD 79. Experience a world frozen in time as you stroll along the cobblestone ancient roads where perfectly conserved ancient bakeries, shops, stalls, residences, public baths, and even brothels remain! Take in the tragic plaster casts of the Pompeiians who were immortalized on that devastating day by pyroclastic flow and ash. Upon conclusion of the guided tour in Pompeii, visit a prize-winning vineyard nearby to taste four of the wines produced in the fertile volcanic soil of Mt. Vesuvius followed by a leisurely light lunch where local specialties take center stage. After enjoying an abundance of antipasti, a first course, and dessert we will transfer to Naples for the return trip to Rome by high-speed train.

Day 8: Free Day in Rome (Saturday, June 27, 2026)

Enjoy a free day in Rome.  Take an optional excursion.

Day 9: Depart Rome to Home (Sunday, June 28, 2026)

We will be met by the tour guide for the transfer to the airport to board the flight from Phuket to home. Safe travels home.

PHYSICAL FUN

We want everyone to join us on the trip, but we also want to make sure you are aware that the trip requires a lot of walking.  Please ensure you are physically able to participate in all activities.  

CANCELLATION POLICY

Deposit and All Payments are Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable. 

This is necessary as we have non-refundable contracts with our suppliers and vendors to ensure you have an awesome trip! 

**THERE IS A STANDARD TWINKONNECTIONS ADMINISTRATIVE FEE OF $100 PER PERSON ADDED ONTO ALL HOTEL FEES AND CANCELLATIONS**

Initial deposits are refundable up to 24 hours after time/date of registration, after the 24-hour timeframe your deposit will be NON-REFUNDABLE. Monthly Payments Are Required.  Full payment or Final Payment for this trip will need to be completed on or before November 21, 2025. 

If you cancel your trip at any time after the 1st payment has been made you will need to file a claim with your insurance provider to reclaim any funds paid towards your trip.
