Itinerary
When booking your flight, you will book a multi-city flight from your Departure city to Nairobi, Kenya (NBO) on October 15, 2027, and your return flight from Zanzibar (ZNZ) on October 24, 2027.
Nairobi, Kenya
Nairobi is the capital and largest city of Kenya, known as the “Green City in the Sun,” uniquely hosting a national park within its boundaries. Nairobi City boasts of many exciting tourist attractions and experiences in Africa.

Upon your arrival at the airport, you’ll be picked up and transferred to the hotel, where you can settle in and relax and get ready for our Welcome to Nairobi Dinner (could change based on the arrival times).
Day 2 – Giraffe Center Tour (Sunday, October 17, 2027)
Included Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
Today, you’ll explore Nairobi’s key attractions, including the Nairobi National Park, the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, a visit to a local bead factory, and the Giraffe Centre.
Pick-up from the hotel for our Nairobi excursion. Our first stop is the Giraffe Centre, located near the iconic Giraffe Manor, where you can feed these gentle, long‑necked giants right from your hand.
We then head to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust for an up‑close experience with rescued elephant orphans.
After enjoying a delicious lunch, the afternoon takes us to Kibera—East Africa’s largest informal settlement and one of the most welcoming communities you’ll ever meet. Guided by a local resident who was born and raised in Kibera, you’ll gain insight into daily life in this vibrant “city of hope.” Witness the remarkable ways its residents uplift their community and be inspired by their resilience, creativity, and warmth.

Day 3 – Travel from Nairobi to Masai Mara (Monday, October 18, 2027)

This morning we’ll drive to Masai Mara (5-hour drive). We will drive through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, arriving at Mara Maisha Camp in time for lunch and a short period of relaxation. We will then head out for your first game drive in the Masai Mara, a prime time for spotting predators as the temperature cools. As the sun sets over the savannah, you will return to the camp for dinner and your first night under the stars in the Mara.
Day 4 – Full Day in Masai Mara (Tuesday, October 19, 2027)
Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today, it is dedicated to exploring the vast reaches of the Masai Mara National Reserve. Following an early breakfast, you will depart with your guides to track the “Big Five” and the diverse birdlife that calls this ecosystem home. To maximize your time in the wild, a picnic lunch will be served in a scenic spot, typically under the shade of a traditional Balanites tree. After a full day of wildlife sightings and photography, you will return to the camp in the late afternoon for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 5 – Transfer from Masai Mara to Nairobi (Wednesday, October 20, 2027)

After a leisurely breakfast and checkout, you will visit a traditional Maasai village to experience the rich heritage of this iconic tribe through their songs, dances, and ancient customs. Leaving the Mara behind, you will take the journey back toward the capital, pausing at a curio shop to browse for handcrafted souvenirs and gifts. Along the way, you will enjoy an authentic lunch at a local restaurant before arriving back in Nairobi late in the afternoon.
Zanzibar
Zanzibar is a semi-autonomous Tanzanian archipelago in the Indian Ocean, renowned for its historic Stone Town, spice production, and stunning beaches.
Hotel: Melia Zanzibar All-Inclusive Resort (Thursday, October 21 – Monday, October 25, 2027) Note: Includes food and drinks (soft drinks and alcohol). Meals with the all-inclusive are included after 2pm on arrival day and end at 3:00pm on the day of check-out.
Day 6 – Flight to Zanzibar, Tanzania (Thursday, October 21, 2027)
Included Meals: Breakfast and Dinner
Time to say goodbye to Nairobi. Pick up from the hotel for airport transfer. Drop off at Nairobi Airport for your flight to Tanzania.
Join us that evening for an optional dinner at the Rock Restaurant. The Rock restaurant offers a unique dining setting with unparalleled panoramic ocean views.
Day 7 – Stone Town Tour and Spice Tour (Friday, October 22, 2027)
Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
We will walk the streets of Stone Town. We will also walk the path of the slave trade and peak at the antiques and souvenirs in the Stone Town markets. We’ll make sure no stone is left unturned. You’ll also visit the white sandy beaches and beautiful coral reefs of Prison Island. You’ll also be amazed by giant land tortoises and an opportunity to feed them.
Enjoy a free night in Zanzibar.
Day 8 – Beach Day and Dhow Sunset Cruise – (Saturday, October 23, 2027)
Included Meals: Breakfast and Dinner
You will enjoy swimming with the turtles and Nungwi beach and Kendwa beach for water sports. This evening, we will enjoy a Dhow Sunset Cruise.
Day 9 – Departure Flight Home (Monday, October 24, 2027)

Required Zanzibar Insurance: Starting from 1 October 2024, all foreign visitors to Zanzibar are required to purchase a mandatory travel insurance policy. The coverage during the stay includes medical emergencies, evacuation, lost luggage, and more. The insurance must be purchased online before arrival through the official website: https://visitzanzibar.go.tz/, and it costs $44 per person. We recommend completing this process before travelling to ensure a smooth entry into Zanzibar.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Deposit and All Payments are Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable.
This is necessary as we have non-refundable contracts with our suppliers and vendors to ensure you have an awesome trip!
**THERE IS A STANDARD TWINKONNECTIONS ADMINISTRATIVE FEE OF $100 PER PERSON ADDED ONTO ALL HOTEL FEES AND CANCELLATIONS**
Initial deposits are refundable up to 24 hours after time/date of registration, after the 24-hour timeframe your deposit will be NON-REFUNDABLE. Monthly Payments Are Required. Full payment or Final Payment for this trip will need to be completed on or before August 15, 2027. Your Final Payment is NON-REFUNDABLE upon its due date of August 15, 2027.
If you cancel your trip at any time after the 1st payment has been made you will need to file a claim with your insurance provider to reclaim any funds paid towards your trip.
