Itinerary
Board your overnight flight to Johannesburg (Wednesday, Sept 18, 2024) Book a Multi City Flight from your Departure city to Johannesburg (JNB) on September 18, 2024, and your return flight from Cape Town (CPT) on September 28, 2024.

Transfer to the hotel. Rest and get ready for our Welcome to South Africa Dinner (subject to change depending on flight times).
Day 2: Ultimate Johannesburg Tour (Friday, Sept 20, 2024)

After breakfast, we will be met by the tour guide for The Ultimate Johannesburg Tour. We will go to the iconic heritage sites in Johannesburg CBD (Central Business District) and Soweto, showcasing South Africa’s turbulent history and promising future. It’s an opportunity to learn more about events that shaped the country’s past and discover the dynamic cultural diversity of two of the most prominent cities in the country. Highlights of the Johannesburg tour includes Constitutional Hill, the Apartheid Museum and the vibrant Newtown Junction. In Soweto, we journey past striking landmarks and historic sites, visit an informal settlement and the Hector Pieterson Museum and ends in the vibrant Vilakazi Street which was home of the great Nelson Mandela. The tour is 7.5 to 8 hours.

Day 3: Flight to Victoria Falls and Boma Dinner (Saturday, Sept 21, 2024)
After breakfast, we will be met by the tour guide for the transfer to the airport to board the flight to Victoria Falls, a visa is required and purchased upon arrival (on your own, you can expect to pay USD $30 for a 30-day/single-entry visa, pricing can change at any time). We will be met by the local tour guide for the transfer to the hotel.
No lunch is included on this day but enjoy the Boma Dinner and Drum Show on this evening.
After breakfast, we will be met by the tour guide for a full day trip to The Chobe National Park Botswana for about 9 hours. We will be picked up from the lodge and transferred into Botswana via Kazungula border post. Note: Visas are required to enter Botswana and will be purchased on site (on your own, approximately $25 per person and payable by credit card only).
On arrival, we will proceed for a morning Boat Safari Cruise on the Chobe River in the National Park for 3 hours before heading back for a buffet lunch. After the lunch, the Safari search continues for another 3 hour 30 minutes in the park on a Game drive 4 x 4 open jeep. Elephants, Buffalo, Lions, Giraffe’s, just to name a few are home to this park and we will see some of the wildlife.
Enjoy dinner at the lodge on this evening.
Day 6: Flight to Cape Town (Tuesday, Sept 24, 2024)
After breakfast, we will be met by the tour guide for a tour of Robben Island and Cape Town City Tour including Table Mountain before free time for lunch (not included – on your own).
Dinner is included at the Gold Restaurant (or similar) on this evening.
After breakfast, we will be met by the tour guide for a full day Cape Peninsula Tour including the seals on Seal Island, Cape Point and Boulders Beach.
Enjoy a free evening in Cape Town.
After breakfast, we will be met by the tour guide for a Winelands tour including a cheese and wine pairing, a lunch break (on your own) in the pretty Winelands town of Stellenbosch and another wine tasting.
Optional Farewell Dinner. TBA.
Day 10: Depart Cape Town to Home (Saturday, Sept 28, 2024)

After breakfast, we will be met by the tour guide for the transfer to the airport to board the flight from Cape Town to home. Safe travels home.

South Africa Entry and Vaccination Requirements
- Passport 6-month validity past your travel dates when traveling abroad
- Two Consecutive Blank Visa Pages: South Africa requires travelers to have two consecutive completely blank visa pages in their passports upon every arrival in South Africa. YOU WILL BE DENIED ENTRY if you do not have two consecutive blank visa pages in your passport. This does not include the endorsement pages.
- Immunizations: Travelers entering South Africa from WHO-designated countries with risk of yellow fever virus (YFV) transmission must present their current and valid International Certificate of Vaccination as approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) (“yellow card”). See the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s South Africa page. Yellow fever vaccination at least 10 days before arrival is required for travelers originating from or transiting through WHO-designated yellow fever countries.
- Traveling with minors: There are special requirements for minors traveling through South African ports of entry. Visit the Department of Home Affairs website for the most up-to-date requirements for traveling with minors to or from South Africa.
Zimbabwe Entry and Vaccination Requirements
- Passport 6-month validity past your travel dates when traveling abroad
- Visa is Required. If you are traveling to Zimbabwe for tourism, business, or transit, you may obtain a visa at the airports or other border ports-of-entry. There is currently no option of getting a Zimbabwean tourist visa in advance through the Zimbabwean Embassy in Washington. You can expect to pay USD $30 for a 30-day/single-entry visa, USD $45 for a 45-day/double entry visa. Pricing can change without notice

This is necessary as we have non-refundable contracts with our suppliers and vendors to ensure you have an awesome trip!
**THERE IS A STANDARD TWINKONNECTIONS ADMINISTRATIVE FEE OF $100 PER PERSON ADDED ONTO ALL HOTEL FEES AND CANCELLATIONS**
Initial deposits are refundable up to 24 hours after time/date of registration, after the 24-hour timeframe your deposit will be NON-REFUNDABLE. Full payment or Final Payment for this trip will need to be completed on or before July 18, 2024. Your Final Payment is NON-REFUNDABLE upon its due date of July 18, 2024.
If you cancel your trip at any time after the 1st payment has been made you will need to file a claim with your insurance provider to reclaim any funds paid towards your trip.
